twitter and facebook widgets not working

Hello there. For some time now on my wondermuch blog (wondermuch.com) my Twitter widget and also Facebook widget are not displaying properly. I’m using the new ‘official’ twitter widget, and have tried clearing the cache, deleting cookies, creating a new Twitter widget, trying to embed the HTML text into a text box instead of using the widget (doesn’t work at all) and trying in another browser. I also can’t find anything about this issue in the forums.
I thought for a while it might just sort itself out but its been like this for weeks if not months now. The Twitter widget just says ‘My Tweets’ instead of displaying the twitter feed, and the Facebook widget just displays a like box instead of the faces box.
Any help would be much appreciated!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, your Twitter and Facebook widgets both look ok to me. Here are a couple screenshots to show you what I see:
If you have Javascript disabled in your browser, that might explain some of the issues that you are experiencing. You can check to see if Javascript is enabled/disabled here: http://supportdetails.com/
If Javascript is enabled and you are still having trouble with these widgets, please let me know and I’ll be happy to help further!
You can also provide a screenshot of what you are seeing. That will help me get a better sense of what’s going on in your browser. You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service such as Snaggy.

Thanks so much for your quick reply. That’s great that it at least looks okay to other people. I checked and I have Javascript enabled – and I also tried to view it in Firefox (I use Chrome) and it didn’t work there either.

Thanks for those screenshots! I see what you mean now. :)
Both of these widgets use code called iframes to embed the content from Facebook and Twitter in your page. Some advertisers also use iframes to place ads in websites, so it’s possible that an ad blocker in your browsers or an antivirus/security program on your computer is blocking this content.
Can you try temporarily disabling any ad blockers or antivirus/security programs you have to see if that resolves the issue? Let me know how that works for you, and we can go from there.

You’re my hero! Thanks so much – I installed a ‘Do not track me’ plugin for chrome a couple of months ago and after disabling that I could see everything fine again. Thanks again so much for your help, another happy wordpress user – as always!
