  The current version of Jetpack is 1.7. Would you please try updating to that, then let us know if that solves the problem?

  Updated the plugin… Pics still not appearing on new comments posted using a twitter id.

  It seems to be working properly for me under the Twenty Eleven theme, so the issue may be with your theme.

  Would you please temporarily activate Twenty Eleven to see if that makes any difference?

  If not, it could be a plugin conflict, so try temporarily deactivating all plugins, then reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
