When i post an article it links into what used to be my old Twitter name. This name is now used by someone else after I changed my twitter @. Just wondering how I can change it so when people see the link my twitter comes up.

Also would you happen to know how I can link my twitter to my account so viewers can see my tweets etc? Or is it just specific themes you can do that on? -

You can add a Twitter Widget on any theme with Widget areas (which is most of them). Here’s some info about setting that up:

Hi again,
I seem to be having the same issue with my old Twitter handle coming up in my posts when I post to to social media.It comes up with the Twitter handle adam_meadows when it should be ameadows92.

still come up as a twitter handle isn’t mine when i post it.Thanks

It looks like your settings specify adam_meadows as your current Twitter handle:

Can you update that and let me know if your posts are still displaying incorrectly?

I just tested the Twitter button here and its appearing with your new user name:

you can see it still has adam_meadows when you maximise the link -

Can you make sure you’ve refreshed the page? If that doesn’t do it, try clearing your cache and cookies:

Yes, if you click on the twitter link at the bottom of the blog it will post what you have showed me of ‘ameadows92’. How ever you click to expand it will still show ‘adam_meadows’ and Brandon Adam Meadows which is not me as seen here. https://twitter.com/AMeadows92/status/566028321537134592
Triend clearing my cache and cookies to solve it but still having issues.

I think I’m not understanding what you mean here. When I click on the Twitter sharing button a new window appears with the little blurb I snapshotted previously. Can you explain more what you mean by “expand it”? Your Twitter link didn’t work for me. :(
