Twitter sharing and card/image integration

    Twitter now integrates the image of a blog post into a neater, clickable card, if tweeting the blog link direct from Twitter or Tweetdeck, etc. How can I get this card when publicizing a blog straight from WordPress? WordPress seems to add the image into the tweet which suppresses the card.

    Hi there,

    You are correct – Publicize does not make use of Twitter cards if a post has a featured image, but instead posts the image as the content of the tweet. There is currently no way to change this, but this is on our list of possible future enhancements to Publicize.

    If you prefer to use the Twitter card the only way to do that for now is to tweet the link manually instead.
