Two accounts, one problem
-
Hallo,
my name is Mia Steingräber and I’m an german illustrator. My site (www.mia-steingraeber.de) runs with wordpress and I use jetpack.Unfornatualy I encountered several problems these days, including the sharing function. Furthermore it seems, that I can’t connect my site propperly with wordpress.com.
After hours and days of research, I found out, that I have two accounts here (@miaszeichenblog + @miasteingraeber). Maybe there occures some interference, because both were at some point connected to my site. This account (@miaszeichenblog) is an old one from my first WP-days, that I don’t use anymore. So I tried to erase it, but that seems not possible. Can you please erase this account for me? Otherwise I don’t no what to do as to remove jetpack from my site.
Thank you and best regards,
Mia -
Hi @miaszeichenblog, this site isn’t at all connected to any sites here so, while you could remove yourself from this account (essentially deactivating it), I don’t think that would solve what you’re after. Can you clarify what you’re trying to do currently?

Hallo an thank you for your advice. I checked my settings again and think this is a problem is elsewhere to be found.
My PC is used to administrate a bunch of WP-sites. To do so I installed the firefox plugin multifox. So I don’t have to login/logout to managed different account in different tabs.
It seems wordpress.com and multifox don’t go well along. I tried to install the sharing function on another PC without multifox and suprisingly it works.
Maybe in the future I don’t need that workaround. However, it would be awesome, when someday it is possible to erase an account. The internet should be allowed to forget. ;-)Thank you again und best regards,
Mia -
@miaszeichenblog I’ve not used Multifox, but if you connect your sites via Jetpack to WordPress.com, you can manage them all here:
