two blogs confused

I already have a blog (everyday world collides). I started a second blog – but entries which I wanted to go into my original blog are now going into the second blog. I deleted the second blog, but it still exists. Entries that I start out by making in the everyday world collides are still appearing in the second blog, despite the fact that I commence the entry in the first, original blog. I understand the second blog probably won’t be deleted until after 3 Jan, but I do not understand why when I start an entry in my original blog, it appears in the second blog. If possible, I would like the last entry I have made to be transferred into my original blog before the second one is deleted.

You haven’t provided enough information yet. What are the URLs of these two blogs starting with http:// ?
Also, are you creating new posts directly through the Posts -> Add New page in your blog dashboard or are you adding posts in another way?

I create a new post by going to “my blog” – “new post”.The blog title that appears at the top of the page when I make the new entry is: http://avoma.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php. But the blog into which I am trying to make the entry (and which is the title that appears when I go to “my blog” post an entry is: the everyday collides – susan reilly (http://susanreilly.wordpress.com/)

Okay, as long as you are logged in as sufran, you should be able create new posts on the susanreilly.wordpress.com from this URL:
http://susanreilly.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.phpWhat happens when you try adding a new post from there?
If that doesn’t work, clear your browser cache and then try again.

The above gets me to the correct page and I can add an entry – but when I click “my blog” even from the page in which I have just added this new entry to my original blog, it takes me back to the second blog. I will tryclearing the cache next.

No, that hasn’t worked either. I also tried to delete the entry from the second blog (and it cleared), but it actually deleted the copied entry from worlds collide (first blog) and left the entry in the second blog. Somehow, the second blog keeps over-riding the first.
I can make new entries to the first blog using the short-cut you provided above, but then when I click on “my blog” to see it, it still takes me back to the second blog even though I have just been working on the first blog. Thanks

Also, when I go in to make a new entry, “your stuff” lists all the entries from my previous blog and the current blog. To some extent, the system seems to be treating the two separate blogs as one blog.

OK, I have sorted it by altering the title of my “primary blog” in personal preferences. Thanks for your help. Cheers.
