Two Post Stream

  Hi,
  I want to split my post stream to two different pages. I want these pages to look like the home page. I am aware of the display posts code add in but it does not give me the same functionality of the main page. I want two main pages essentially. I do not how this would be possible.

  Hi there,

  The only way to do this is using category pages, i.e. you add your categories directly to the menu. That will display a page only showing posts from that particular category, e.g. https://rhetcompatstonybrook.wordpress.com/category/teaching-writing/

  For the most part category pages behave the same as the main posts page, provided a theme doesn’t have a bunch of special features that are specific to the posts page only. In this case your theme doesn’t appear to have any features like that, but you will note the category pages don’t display the custom header image visible on the front page.

  Aside from category pages, it is not possible to have two posts pages on a site. A site only has one main blog posts feed, and that feed will always display all posts. And on themes that have special styling or features for the posts page, those will only work on that page.
