Two sets of Jetpack stats. Please help.

  I wanted to overhaul my woodworkingschool.com site. I wanted to preserve the pages of the old site for reference so I created a subdomain old.woodworkingschool.com and moved the site there. I happily started creating my new site and installed Jetpack and linked it to record stats. I thought the site would relink and I would have my historic stats. I don’t. They seem to have followed the old site to old.woodworkingschool.com.

  Please can you help me link the stats for old.woodworkingschool.com to woodworkingschool.com?

  Please help if you can.

  Hi Joseph,

  Because of how stats are tracked, we can only transfer your stats if you exported the contents of your old site and imported those contents into the new site. Otherwise, the information used to track those stats behind the scenes is different on the two sites, and transferring the stats doesn’t work. However, your historic stats will be retained for you at old.woodworkingschool.com.
