Two Step Authentication Loop!

    How annoying, I know what two step authentication is and that’s annoying. I’ve tried it with Google, WordPress, Facebook – you name it. But WordPress seem to not want you to turn it off so much so that I am stuck in a loop!

    TWO STEP IS CURRENTLY ON:
    I try to deactivate it and this is what happens, click “disable”, enter code, get taken through verification steps, woohoo two step is activated! Even though I want to disable it.

    To answer questions pre-emptively:
    Yes I’ve cleared cache and cookies
    Yes I have the correct backup codes (I currently have 30 take your pick).

    Two step verification gets stuck in a reverification loop if you try to disable it – if someone can fix this I would be grateful.

    It looks like you got this disabled. From our logs, it looks like you were going through one after another, so you were disabling and enabling and disabling and enabling.

    Sorry you had so much trouble with this. I’ll do some testing and see if I can figure out why you were getting the wrong confirmation message.
