Two-step authentication: new phone, no backup codes, no transaction IDs

  I am locked out of my account: slothinthecity.wordpress.com. I still have access to the email address of the account, but it won’t let me log in, even with the correct password because I don’t have any authenticator codes.

  When I try to directly reset my password directly with a link, it won’t let me log in without an authenticator code, and sends a code directly to an old phone number of mine.

  Am I locked out forever, or can I recover my account?
