Unable to access site
-
So I don’t know if anyone can help me. I have kind of a weird problem. I created a gmail account and a wordpress account to make a wordpress site for a client. I came back today to make the site a paid site and I got the error message that the user didn’t exist. When I try to log into the google account I created it also does not exist. The wordpress site is still active, but I can not log into the site. I can’t use account recovery, because I don’t have access to the email. Can anyone tell me did I break a policy? Why am I getting user doesn’t exist when I try to log in? Is there anyway to retrieve the account without having access to the email it’s registered under?

I guess that site is connected to another account of yours. WordPress.com has a strict policy regarding giving access to a site. You’ll have to proof one way or another you are the rightfull owner. To restore access, you can use the Activation URL or key at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form
