Unable to Access Website
-
Hello,
I help manage armv.org website, and multiple admins, including myself, have not been able to log-in, edit, or access the website. People trying to visit the website get an ‘unavailable’ message. When I was trying to edit the website to see if I could fix it, I was unable to even see the editing options, I just received the ‘unavailable’ screen. I was wondering if something happened to the website, if this is a glitch, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi! These are actually the forums for free sites hosted by WordPress.com, but we can probably point you in the right direction.
I see a “Critical Error” message on the front page.
– You should have an email with more details. If you don’t see that, can you contact your host? They can also help you check error logs and, if you have one, restore a recent backup. Note there are other backup services too; if you’re using something like Jetpack Backup you could restore through that instead.
– If this happened with a recent theme or plugin update or install, your host can help you remove just that one plugin or theme through their interface if needed.
– This guide can help, too: https://wordpress.org/support/article/common-wordpress-errors/
Going forward, here are a few tips on finding help with your WordPress installation: https://wordpress.com/support/help-support-options/#word-press-org-support
And here’s the difference between our hosting services and the free software: https://get.wp.com
Hoping this helps!
