Unable to Access WP Admin for My Site
-
I had an issue with my domain redirecting incorrectly at the end of last week, which was resolved, but after 48 hours it still hadn’t propogated and was saying the site couldn’t be reached. I rang my domain provider again who say the domain is fine, but they can’t see a HT file associated with it and that the issue is content related, that it may be a plugin causing the problem. However, I can’t access the site to resolve any issues with plugins, or deactivate any to test so feel a bit stuck – can anyone help with this? It’s only a personal blog, not a business that I’m trying to put together, not a business, so I’m trying to avoid paying for a ticket for the developers at the domain provider to fix it. I’ve designed and run 2 blogs before, the only thing I did differently was to add a plugin that could install the SSL certificate. The IP issue was caused by adding a Bing code to the DNS to verify site ownership – I followed instructions, adding a CNAME but somehow the whole site became redirected and lost – it’s ponting at the right IP now. Help!
