Unable to change email address. Unable to publish pages.

    Trying to change email address. WordPress says it is pending change, and sends messages to the new address, but apparently hasn’t accepted the new address yet. Online support tells me to sign in to old address to get messages. Reason I need new address is old address wasn’t created properly. And since messages are going to new address, why would that even be necessary? Can’t publish any pages, apparently because wordpress hasn’t changed email address yet.
