Unable to change my email address

    Hi, I wanted to change my email address to ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’. At first I found out that my new email id already had another wordpress account with different username ‘atultiwariin’, but I wanted to retain my current username (as it is my name only) and new email id, so I deleted the another wordpress account associated with my new email id. After its successful deletion, I tried again to change the email id, but I still get the same error that my email id is in use. How can I update the email id. Thnak you.

    Hello Atul,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    So an account wouldn’t be fully purged until 30 days after deletion, so the email address for re-use wouldn’t be available immediately.

    But the account owner would need to request this from the email address used with the deleted account.

    To check, are you looking to restore the account: atultiwariin?
