Unable to change theme or add custom header image
-
When I try to change themes, it won’t let me select my blog in the “select site” box. There is no selection, therefore I cannot select my blog to change the theme. Any suggestions?
Also, I wanted to add a custom header image, but when I click customize, the page only says “Cheatin, uh?”
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Also note that you must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
You can quickly and easily change themes to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do some work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme and have done any CSS editing.
Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes and browse themes until you find one you like and click “activate” or type in the name of the theme you want to use and
click the “activate” link when it appears. After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.

Are you logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog in question?
If you are then this may help http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2014/01/18/video-tutorial-customizing-your-theme/

ok, for instance, I clicked on the theme “Suits” and there was an “activate” button to the right side. I clicked “activate” and it took me to another page where it says “choose one of your blogs select the blog you want to activate suits on”. Underneath this there is a drop down menu that says “choose a site” and underneath there is an activate button. drop down menu does not work, my blog name is not there. Therefore, without selecting a site, the activate button does not work.

How many username accounts do you have?
Which one registered the blog you want to purchase the premium theme for?
Those are questions that you need to answer because if the blog URL is not in the dropdown you are not logged in under the correct username account. You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
and if required click the “Need More Help” link and complete the form for account recovery.

I’m the admin of this blog, I’m logged in, I can access the dashboard and everything. And this is supposed to be a free theme, it just won’t let me select my blog to change themes…

Hi there,
You are an Author on the blog http://eddyfarms.wordpress.com/ which means that you do not have access to all of the options for managing the blog. You can read more about what rights an Author has on a blog here: User Roles
You’ll need to ask the blog’s owner/administrator to either make those changes on the blog for you or change your role from an author to an administrator. Any administrator on a blog can do things like change the blog’s theme.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
