Unable to delete blogs, no email from WP

    I have a number of blogs hosted with WordPress.com, and I wish to delete a couple of these. One was for an organisation I am no longer affiliated with, and the other I am moving to a WordPress.org site.

    I go through all the steps as I should to delete the site, checking all applicable boxes. But I never receive the email required with the link for permanent deletion.

    The email is simply not being sent – it is definitely not getting caught by a spam folder, as I updated my Admin email twice to try different spam filters.

    Help please.

    Hi,
    We Volunteers can’t help with issues like this one as we don’t have backend access to blogs. You will have to contact Staff. Here’s the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.
