Unable to delete suspicious file from uploads folder

  Hello ,
  I am working on a site from one of my clients and it was hacked. Now i can see a suspicious file that is not visible in FTP but it is with a plugin (advanced file manager) . However the file is full of suspicious code. It is a .htm file. But i cannot delete it is says access denied. Wordfence founds it too but cannot delete it either. Via ftp it is invisible. Is there any way or plugin to brute-force deletion of a file?

  The file is a link to a dropbox thing which enables the hack i think.
  
  I have more issues here, some folders cannot be removed despite the permissions. It is somehow hardcoded by the hacker to make it un-deletable. Any help would be appreciated.
