Unable to edit 14-year-old hyperlinks in Widget/sidebar area

Greetings! I have followed instructional videos and help lines, but I am not allowed — in Chrome or in Internet Explorer — to hover over the URL names (‘Link Images’) in my sidebar to update the URLs hyperlinked there. All of the items linked-to are available, but at different URLs due to a reconfiguration of the newspaper site to which all of the links take readers. How do I change/update/correct these URLs in the sidebar/widget area? I have followed all instructions but am disabled from changing the URLs in the hyperlink codings.

I am having the same problem.
The cursor shows a circle with a red cross (do not enter symbol). The only link that can be edited is the first one to a Google calendar. There appears to be no other way to edit the other links.
