Unable to figure out how to SAVE a Page when I make new pages

  I am doing a family newsletter and would like to save pages as I do them. There is nothing there to save the pages, only save posts. When I watch the tutorial it shows a section on the right side of screen where you can save your work, publish it, put it into drafts, enter a date, make it public or private. I CAN NOT find that no matter how hard I try. I did have it at one time and now can’t find it. If I am working on a post there is a blue “update” button at the bottom of the page, but that is all. I know I’m not crazy, just there is something I need to do to bring back this section to save, publish my work.
