Unable to follow other users

    My friend recently created a blog and I am unable to follow due to it saying I have too many pending requests but I shouldn’t have any out there and I am unable to figure out where the subscription center is to determine how to get rid of them. Please advise.

    Hi there,

    What is your friend’s site’s address, and how exactly are you trying to follow it?

    You should be able to follow it using the regular WordPress.com follow button while logged into your account, and if you want to get email notifications, you can then enable those from the Reader itself – the blog subscription widget is not the only way to do that.

    That said, I do see four pending email subscriptions for the email address on your account. To confirm or delete those, open an incognito browser tab and go to https://subscribe.wordpress.com/

    Enter your email address there, and then open the link you’ll receive via email, also in an incognito tab/while logged out of your WordPress.com account.
