Unable to follow sites

    Hello, this is my 4th inquiry regarding this topic, but I have not received a response. For the past 6 weeks I have not been able to follow sites. I keep getting the error message, ‘unable to follow this site.’ Why is this the case?

    This is the first time you’ve ever posted in our forums (https://wordpress.com/forums/users/alavenderplace/), and I don’t see any email support tickets for this account. Where did you previously try to contact us?

    It looks like a couple of months ago you tried to follow a site that is impossible to follow, and you’ve hit our bulk-following limits multiple times during April, causing our system to flag your account as a bot account.

    I’ve re-enabled follows for your account, but please note that the Following feature is intended to be used to subscribe to a reasonable number of sites you want to read. Following large numbers of sites in a short period of time, and without actually visiting them and reading their content, is considered abuse of this feature, and will result in following for your account being disabled again.
