Unable to make eventbrite show on my site

    I have been trying to get something to work with Eventbrite. On https://en.support.wordpress.com/eventbrite/ it shows all wordpress.com as the tutorial, not a self-install/wordpress.org site. I followed those instructions, changed to multiple themes listed on that page. I deactivated and then reconnected with Eventbrite. I even tried the embed codes, though I knew the iframe would block it. The only way I get the page template referenced in the instructions is to switch to the new editor, but then it won’t save changes or publish until I go back to default. I have also tried just using the event link like a youtube embed as well as using it as an embed URL in the embed block.

    After that long explanation of what I have done myself, my question is does Eventbrite work on wordpress.com sites anymore on a free plan? If not, do they work on a paid plan?

    Hi there,

    I don’t see any Eventbrite connection for your site at https://wordpress.com/sharing/jmweiner.wordpress.com. The Eventbrite template is only available if there is an active Eventbrite connection on the site.

    Can you please try connecting to Eventbrite again and let us know once you’ve done that?
