Unable to Map Domain Name

  I have been unsuccessful in mapping my domain name when attempting to create my site. Every time I click the upgrade button after adding my site the way it explains, it takes me directly back to searching for a site. Endless loop. I tried it with Personal which states you can add a custom domain and premium. Neither worked.

  Hi there,

  There’s a bug with the site creation process at the moment.

  Please clear your browser cache and cookies, then log back in and start creating a site again.

  On step 3 – Select a domain, pick only the free *.wordpress.com domain. Then add the plan and complete the site setup. Once the site is created, go to My Site ->Domains, and you should be able to add the domain mapping upgrade from there.

  Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping)
