Unable to publish blog posts

I recently created a new blog but can’t actually publish anything. No option appears whatsoever. A message at the top says to reconfirm my email address but I’ve done that before and nothing happens except being redirected elsewhere. I also can’t see any of the alerts I receive when commenting in general. Nothing comes up except an endless loading sequence. These issues probably aren’t related but are still irritating.

Please try clearing your browser cache and cookies and reconfirm your email if it still gives you that message. http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/If that doesn’t work, please let us know, and also please provide the URL of your blog, starting with https://, as there’s nothing more we can do to help you without that.

I cleared my browser cache and cookies but no luck. I can save my posts as pending but no actual publish option appears at all. Maybe the theme I’m using is the problem?

Hi there! It looks like your account is confirmed already. However, you’re not a user on any sites. Can you link me to the site you’re trying to publish on? Do you have another username?

The site I linked above is my new blog. I also go by the same name as well and I’m the administrator.

By name I meant the account which synchronizes with the blog name. If needed I can post under that here as well. The comments not appearing in my inbox is a problem on both accounts.
