Unable to recover account even with transaction IDs
-
I am unable to recover my wordpress.com account for a site, even when I provide various transaction IDs for the domain (annual renewal transactions). I also am not seeing confirmation or recovery emails in my various email addresses. I also don’t have access to the original confirmation link or two-factor codes. I used the chat to try to resolve the issue, and they recommended I try the forums. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @derekhernandez468946999! Thanks for letting us know about this.
I took a look at our records, and it seems like the site is linked to a different account under a different email address than the one you used to contact us.
Since you’re not receiving the recovery emails and don’t have access to your original login details or two-factor codes, the best next step is to fill out the account recovery form here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
If you’ve already tried that and are still having issues, please feel free to email us at help@wordpress.com. We’d be happy to take a closer look and help you out privately from there.

Thanks for the reply! Appreciate it.
Unfortunately, I can’t submit the recovery form as the form isn’t accepting any of my transaction IDs.
I’ll send your team an email shortly to follow up.

Hi again, Derek,
We’ve received your email, and we’re preparing a reply to it asking for more information. Could you please answer us back once you receive it?
And moving forward, let’s continue the conversation via that channel, since we need to disclose sensitive details; it’s better to do that via a secure method.
We’ll be in touch via the email.
Best
