Unable to set privacy

I want to transfer my domain but am unable to do so because I keep receiving this error when I try to open my privacy settings: ‘Unable to set the privacy.’ How can I proceed?

I have disabled Private Registration on your domain as requested.
It may take about an hour for the change to go through.

So I’m looking at this at 9 AM on the following day, and I’m still receiving the same error. Any ideas why this hasn’t taken effect yet?

Thanks for writing back to us. There’s something weird happening with the privacy and I’ve asked our domain team to take a look. We will report back here with an update.

Alright. There was most certainly something weird going on and we needed help directly from the registry to get the privacy sorted out. They’ve told us that this has been fixed and you should be good to go. The privacy is disabled on the domain.
