    I am unable to sign up for WordAds.

    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there,

    WordAds is available for sites on our Premium, Business, and eCommerce plans that use a custom domain (for example, yourgroovydomain.com instead of yourgroovysite.wordpress.com.)

    It is possible to sign up for enable ads on your site, but to do that you will first need to upgrade to one of the plans mentioned here. WordAds is not available for free sites on WordPress.com
