Unable to unlock/transfer domain

  Hello! I need help transferring my domain to google domains.

  Just to clarify, are you following these instructions here:

  Also, what is the URL of the domain you are hoping to transfer? I’m not seeing any upgrades or domain registrations associated with your WordPress.com user account, so that could be part of the problem as well.

  Hello,

  Thank you for responding. I followed those instructions, yes. I don’t have the option to transfer to another registrar thought. My domain in question is http://www.philophonic.com

  Hi there,

  What exactly are you running into when you attempt the transfer? From my end, I still see a clientTransferProhibited status on the domain, which is usually removed when the domain owner begins the transfer process. Are you receiving any sort of notices when attempting the transfer?

  I can’t begin the transfer process without being able to unlock the domain to be transferred. I am unable to unlock it and currently don’t have the option to transfer to another registrar.

  To verify, are you logged into the philophonic1 username account when you are attempting this transfer? That is the account the domain is under, not the jblakeaudio username you are reaching out to us from.

  I’ve tried logging into philophonic1 but when I request a forgot password link, no emails show up. I’ve checked all my email accounts and their respective spam folders.

  That is the source of the problem. You will need to be able to log into that account in order to initiate the transfer.

  If you do not have access to that second account, here are a few options:

  Account recovery form – https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

  Finally, even if you do not have access to the correct account, if you have your payment information you can use our “Why was I charged?” tool. It was built for situations such as this:
