Unable to update/recover account because of missing Authenticator

  I got a new phone. yay. I forgot to export authenticator. Boo. I’m unable to reset my account with that or back up code. No way to reauthenticate, etc. Keep getting sent back to the same ‘authenticator’ or ‘back up code’ options – no other options. How can I recover this account? I’ve been invited to help with the site in this post but am unable to get any further.

  The fact that you are able to create this forum post means that you are logged into your WordPress.com account right now. Is your WordPress.com account not what you are talking about? Are you talking about a self hosted WordPress website’s login instead?
