Unable to upload photo for my profile.

  Hi I am unable to upload a file to the WordPress app or the site to set my profile picture has anyone else noticed this issue and is there a way I can fix this? Is rather annoying not being able to have a profile picture I tried uninstalling the app but it didn’t fix this issue and the website won’t let me upload of photo either. Any ideas?

  Can you tell us what behaviour you’re experiencing when uploading a photo please?

  Also, what is the file size and type being uploaded to the site?

  It acts like it’s uploading them it stops and gives me an error saying to try again. I’ve tried all types of files and from my Google drive and from my gallery.

  Hi there,

  This sounds like it may be a cache issue. Have you tried logging in using a different browser to upload the photo or clearing your browser’s cache?

  Also, what is the site of the image you are attempting to upload?

  I have tried brave browser and chrome browser and the app. none have worked. Where I am uploading the image from is my phone.`

  What mobile device are you using and what OS version are you currently on? Also, have you tried to upload any images while on the computer?

  Just trying to eliminate it being a network issue.

  I am using a Google pixel 4a os12 and no I haven’t tried a computer yet that’s my next stop as soon as I get to one.

  Thanks for the additional info. If you have issues with setting your profile image on the computer, can you upload a copy here so we can refer to it directly?

  This will allow us to examine the image to see if there are any issues with it, as well as test on our end to see if we can observe the same issue you are having on our end.
