unauthorized charge

    Got charged $99 randomly and can’t get hold of anyone to refund it. Don’t have a paid account or paid domain so I have no idea where this charge came from or why it happened. I was charged, but my account plan still says free and I don’t have an owned domain, so I literally got charged for what seems to be no reason.

    Hi there,

    $99 is the cost of the WordPress.com Premium Plan, so this sounds like an autorenewal for a WordPress.com site that was purchased at least 11 months ago. The account you’re using to post here is only two months old.

    Is it possible that you have any other WordPress.com sites in a different account for which you might have bought an upgrade at some time? You can also try searching for the transaction at wpchrg.com to see what it was for, and you can contact our billing team directly from that page if it doesn’t provide you with any helpful information.
