  Hello. My name is Monique Hamson and I was charged $18 for some reason via my VISA debit card and do not understand why.

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  If that charge is coming from wordpress.com, you can check it at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/. On the same page is a form to contact the Billing Team.
