unauthorized material posted on my website
-
Someone has been posting unauthorized material on my website (johnwlundin.com). I keep receiving emails from WordPress to approve comments posted to my website that use my address but add information on the end. These include the following: https://www.johnwlundin.com/2015/09/16/the-world-is-not-enough/; https://www.johnwlundin.com/2016/02/04/video-5/; https://www.johnwlundin.com/2016/02/04/video-6/. WordPress informs my I have 31 comments waiting form my approval. Currently 31 comments are waiting for approval. Please visit the moderation panel:
https://www.johnwlundin.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php?comment_status=moderated#wpbody-contentWhen I click on those links, I find the shell of my website where new information has been added about another author with the same name (John W. Lundin) whose information says he was born in Oregon but lives in Brooklyn. His books are listed on my website: The World is not Enough; Helping with Meditation; and Exotic Lands. I found his books on Amazon and his author bio gives lots of information about him. How did this information get placed on my website and how can it be removed. Since the other author and I have the same name, I don’t know if this was a mistake or an intentional misuse of my website. Whatever the reason, I want it to stop. Please advise what to do.

Hi,
It looks like your site is using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but is hosted with another web host.
We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us here at WordPress.com. For help with a WordPress site hosted elsewhere you’ll need to ask over at the WordPress.org forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Depending on the level of support that is included with your hosting plan, your web host’s support team may also be able to assist.
If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the open-source WordPress software you can read this article:

However…
Allow me to use this opportunity to say that if you WERE hosted here at WordPress.com, you would have access to 24/7 WordPress specific assistance from a world-class support team and we could likely get this sorted out for you.

We have a guide to help move your site to WordPress.com here and our support team can also assist:
