Unauthorized site created

Someone used my email address to create a site without my permission. If I close this account, will Gravatar still work?

Gravatar and WordPress.com are connected to one another. I would just delete the site in question since they used your email address for it.

Make sure you have 2 factor authentication turned on for you online accounts including WordPress.com and your email. It’s not a bad idea to update your email password as well.
