Uncaught Error: Call to a member function update_meta()

Hello. I’m an Elementor Pro user and I’m stuck with the gray screen loading issue, but it’s only on one page, the landing page… So now I can’t edit this page.
-My hoster increased my plan values to maximum possible
    -PHP version is 7.4
-Tried incognito, other browsers. Didn’t make a difference. (i’m working on chrome)
    -Deactivated plugins.
-Checked x-frame. It was already on ‘same origin’
    -Changed theme to twenty-nineteen
    -Everything is updated

I’ve literally tried everything and my hoster doesn’t know anymore. I’ve sent them information links from the elementor website about the issue. Now I found out that if I deactivate Elementor Pro, the issue solved. So the issue is Elementor Pro. But what to do now?
The log error code is this:
Uncaught Error: Call to a member function update_meta()
I already checked this link, but since this is for WooCommerce, I’m not getting any wiser: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/php-fatal-error-call-to-a-member-function-update_meta_data-on-bool/

    My website is: hannaneve.com

  • Hi,

It looks like your site is using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but is hosted with another webhost.

We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us here at WordPress.com. For help with a WordPress site hosted elsewhere you’ll need to ask over at the WordPress.org forums:

    https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Depending on the level of support that is included with your hosting plan, your webhost’s support team may also be able to assist.

If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the open-source WordPress software you can read this article:
