Under My Sites it shows the old blog name, not new name. Any ideas?

I’ve changed my username and site name on WordPress.com, however when I login and goto ‘My Sites’ at the top it is still showing my old blog name over my domain URL. I can’t deleted the blog either because I purchased the domain with the WordPress website. Anyone know how I can update my Blog name to update. The first one was a typo, and I don’t want to make it private- I want to use the original one with the fixed name. Somehow!! Thanks :)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

It looks like everything has updated as seen here:

Hi, it’s fine on the webpage, but it is showing in correct in ‘My Sites’ admin panel when I log in to wordpress.com I would attach a screenshot if that would help

Oh I see. That can take a few days. If it’s still like that after clearing the cache, let me know if it still hasn’t updated in a couple days!

Oh ok. I just wanted to be sure I’m not going to have to delete my site once I start working on it. Because I tried to delete it first when I realized the name wasn’t matching in the control panel, but it said I can’t delete it because I need to use it to access the domain manager. I wasn’t sure if there was a way to force it. Or maybe switch to a self-hosted wordpress.org account. I’m new to this whole WP world. Thanks for helping me out though Grace. I’ll keep you posted.
