  hi, I want to transfer my domain name ‘unamilanesargentina.com’ but the new provider told my that this domani name is blocked. It’s still my domain name, even if I cancel it today on your host?

  Once a domain is canceled, it is no longer yours and control of it reverts back to the domain registrar. You cannot transfer/renew/change a canceled domain. Also, domains that are within 60 days of being initial registration cannot be transferred per ICANN rules.

  Once canceled, the registrar will typically hold onto the domain for a few weeks as an anti fraud measure before it is released into the pool of available domains. If you like, I can try and reverse the cancellation. I will let you know if I am successful, it typically takes 12-48 hours.

  If successful, you will need to re-purchase the yearly domain registration. Then you will be able to use the domain here on WordPress.com or point your domain to a new webhost using these instructions:

  And once 60 days have passed, you can transfer the domain to a new registrar using these instructions:
