unlocked my domain with WP, but other registrar still says locked

I went through the 2-step unlock process with my WP-owned domain.
WP said ‘domain unlocked’ and sent me the transfer code.
I entered it (@ iPage) –
at this point I’m not sure – I was supposed to get a confirmation email? Can’t find it.
And now, WP still says ‘domain unlocked’, but iPage says ‘locked’ if I enter the transfer code.
And the domain is indeed locked in the public registry.
This has lasted for 3 days.
Does entering a transfer request lock a domain? Am I just blindly missing that confirmation email?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I can see it auto-locks after a set amount of time, as WP now shows it as locked for a 3rd time. (although it was always locked publicly)
Is it possible there is a ‘pending transfer’ status on it which is locking it, as I already entered a transfer code at iPage ? -
