unlocking my domain

    I’ve unlocked my domain a while ago and wordpress is still saying it’s locked when it isn’t

    Are you speaking of theetimeblog.com?

    It can take several hours after unlocking a domain before other providers can detect that it is unlocked. The only way we can check that is by doing a Whois lookup, so it depends on how long the Whois database takes to update to reflect the new status.

    But it looks like you’ve since been able to start the transfer, as it’s showing as pending to me now. The transfer should complete in around 7 days, though your current domain provider might offer an option for you to accept the transfer to have it complete immediately. Please contact them directly to ask about that.
