unpark my domain please

    I have cancelled my plan/ subscription for kyliecooke.com as I couldn’t seem to get the results I needed on wordpress.

    I have moved back to squarespace, which I more familiar, but now it appears the domain is still parked with wordpress.

    Could you advise me how to transfer it over to WordPress

    Hi there,

    The domain, kyliecooke.com, is no longer in our control. That domain has already been deleted by the registry, and it depends on them how long it will be before they release the domain so it can be registered again. Usually this is only a day or two, but we have no control over that process.

    Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future.
