Unwanted advertising

  There are ads appearing on my latest blog post which hasn’t happened before. I’m not opposed to travel-related ads (which this one is) but shouldn’t I be getting paid for it? Thanks, Eileen

  Adverts may not be wanted but they are a fact of life for those of us with free WordPress.com sites. An upgrade to the Personal plan is the only way to remove them: https://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/

  I am quite happy to see advertising pegged up to my blog. However, recently I have seen adds by professionals such as http://www.aprenderaeducar.org I do not know, that seem piggybacking their trade on my posts.
  I have no relationship whatsoever with this and some other similar and I do not want my readers to think I am sponsoring (or being sponsored by) them.
  Please advise.
