Unwanted Transparent Framed Boxes Appearing on Pages and Posts

    Hi there,

    Over the past 3 days, I have noticed unwanted Framed boxes appearing on several pages and posts. As the box is clear, it gives the appearance of a blank space.

    Here is some info about this pesky box:
    -It clear and presents as a blank space, but when the space is highlighted you can see there is a box.
    -The box only appears on the published version of the site, not when I am editing the page (I use Elementor).
    -It appears under the first image inside of a text box that is on a page.
    -It only appears when the image is centered.

    When I use the firebug extension to inspect the box, the following code appears:

    My site is new and I’ve made a lot of changes over the past few days, so it’s hard to pinpoint where the issue may have come from. I’ve tried purging my cache and deactivating plug-ins, to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this issue?

    Hi oliviaschellenberg68,

    Need to apologise, your vocabulary is fine :) happylatitudes.com is a WordPress.org site hosted by Bluehost (rather than WordPress.com):

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    The Jetpack plugin creates a connection between the site and your WordPress.com account but it is not hosted here. I recommend posting to the WordPress.org support forums for advice:

    If the issue started after Elementor was installed, you could try contacting them for advice this suggests it is related to the plugin. They have a support area here:

    You could also try commenting out any recently added CSS to see if that has an impact. For what it’s worth, I can’t see any framed boxes at the moment.
