Update for self-hosted version

  The URL below ist not the self-hosted blog, it is just for testing.
  I work with a self-hosted version of wordpress. Noe, that version is very outdated. Is it complicated, to update my version? How to update it? Will there be extra fees? Will my current blog be lost after the update?

  Do you want to move the self hosted blog onto WordPress.COM or do you want to update your self hosted blog and keep it self hosted?

  I want to keep it self-hosted.
  If I compare the current not-self-hosted version on WordPress.com with the self-hosted version, I would love to get the current version.
