  I have made updates to my site but the home screen is not showing those updates when I visit the website

  tierranegrafiction.com is registered through GoDaddy and also hosted by them. It does not use the managed hosting environment from WordPresss.com. You will need to visit https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ to get assistance with that site.
