Updating domain on wordpress?

  I Just started on wordpress for free. I plan to opt for a plan later & choose a new domain. Will that mean I loose all content that I have published on the existing free domain?

  Hi there, no, when you add a plan and purchase a custom domain for your WPcom website, your content will continue to appear just as on your free site. Your site visitors will be automatically directed to that content at the custom domain address. As an example: yoursite.wordpress.com will be yoursite.com
