Updating the header/featured photo.

  I am trying to update my header/featured photos on the home page of my site. It allows me to follow the steps needed in order to upload the image, save and publish it, but the photo never changes from the one provided in the template. I am not tech savvy in the slightest, so I am unsure of how to troubleshoot on my own. Any help would be appreciated!
