Updraft deleted itself
-
I went into recovery mode after a failed updraft restore, and half of my plugins are gone and half of the website is gone essentially. I use Filezilla for backups. Is there any help on this? Is there no way I can restore the website back to 2 days ago? Updraft backed up every day as well.

Hi there,
We can’t help directly because we don’t host your site on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.
Instead your host (IONOS) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. Specifically we don’t offer Backdraft as we use our own built in system for managing backups.
The good news though is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/ as the folks over there are most familiar with the version of WordPress that IONOS uses, and are in the best position to help.
You may also wish to reach out to IONOS support directly, and ask if they have internal backups that they can use to restore your site, as that may be the fastest way to get it back online.
Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
