Received an email today, strongly urging me to backup my blog, and the number one suggestion was Updraft. When i tried to download it, i was informed it’s incompatible with WordPress.
Ah… wut?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That plugin is designed for sites using the WordPress.org software. Here at WordPress.com plugins can only be used by upgrading to the Business plan. Even then, Updraft wouldn’t work as it is included in the list of incompatible plugins here. WordPress.com already keeps content from all their sites secure on numerous servers.
PS: If you really want peace-of-mind you can create an xml file of your WordPress.com site via “Settings” “Export”.
