I have 2 active sights with the same domain names for yrs now…but i want up grade so as to not have any ads. Im guessing its easy to do? Also, u have sent me instructions on how transfer ‘my 2’ sights from my friends account (which i have her log in information) in to my new word press account…since im able to access her account can i transfer my sights over or does she need do it all…thank you for all your help!!! Please don’t post contact information like phone numbers here in the public forums.
If you want to upgrade a site, go to My Site ->Switch Site, and select the site you wish to upgrade. Then click on Plans, select the plan you want, and complete the checkout process.
All plans come with a free domain for the first year, and if you register a domain all links for the free WordPress.com address will still work. But you also don’t have to register a domain if you don’t want to.

You’ll need to be logged into the account that currently owns a site in order to transfer it to another account.
